With the new ICen DA compact infrared transmitter, connecting the INFRACOM system to a DIGIMIC system or other external audio sources is easier and faster than ever. The systems are connected via RJ45 plugs and the audio signals are transmitted via DANTE.

The ICen DA compact transmitter is used within the INFRACOM system to transmit 8 audio channels using infrared light. The audio signal is converted into a modulated transmission signal in the low-interference IR band IV and emitted via connected INFRACOM radiators IRad. Up to 8 channels (OR + 7 languages) from the DIGIMIC system (external sources) are transmitted simultaneously via DANTE on different carrier frequencies. The number of channels can be further increased by cascading additional ICen DA transmitters.

Each transmission channel can be switched on individually and assigned to one of 32 possible frequencies. The transmitted signals are received with the INFRACOM IRX receiver and listened to via headphones.
